Sometimes I get questions about what gear I use, so here goes:
Update August 2009: Recently bought a Nikon D90, amazing little camera. Was looking at the D3, D300 and D700, didn’t want to buy at the end of their run, so went with the D90 as a temporary measure. Turns out I was right the D300s was announced a couple of weeks ago, and I think the D700 will get an update soon.
My main body is a Nikon D1x, it’s showing it’s age now..
Nikon 28-70mm 2.8 AF-s
Nikon 80-200mm 2.8
Nikon 20mm 2.8
Nikon 50mm 1.8
Nikon 50mm 1.4 (Manual focus)
I still have my awesome Nikon F4 – barely used sadly.
A Fuji F30 – brilliant p&s pocket camera, great quality up to 1600 ISO!
A couple of old Nikon flashes, Manfrotto tripod and monopod.
Too many camera bags – 2 Lowepro backpacks, one Crumpler satchel, plus a couple of others..
Nothing too crazy, and I’m definitely overdue for a new main body, checking out D300/D700, while secretly plotting to buy a D3..
